Neil Crumpton's public profile

Neil is an experienced educator and consultant with over 21 years of experience in the field of education, specializing in Science and Computer Science. With a robust background in teaching Physics and Computer Science, he has dedicated 16 years to inspiring students in the classroom and 5 years to enhancing educational practices through consultancy. His current work focusses on curriculum development, teacher training and cross-curricular STEM education.

Having started out as a real-time embedded software engineer in Telecomms R&D Neil was involved in the development and implementation of ADSL and Fibre to the Home.

Neil has a number of roles for the North Midlands Area; ENTHUSE coach, STEM Ambassador, facilitator for Science and Computing, and Secondary Lead for the North Midlands Computing Hub.

Alongside all of this he tutors, runs a geeky gift and clothing company and is a scout leader.
