Summary

Bespoke CPD for ECTs or teachers that are new to the Trust.

These sessions will be practical and specific to the Meridian Trust Primary Science Curriculum. You will have an opportunity to explore the MTP for your year group’s unit, try out some of the investigations and ask any questions about specific lessons.

In session 1, we will focus on the 5 enquiry types and consider how they are mapped for upcoming units.

In session 2, we will  address the 7 working scientifically skills and discuss how to support their progression through a unit and key stages.

 

Outcomes

We can develop an affordable bespoke CPD event which is delivered locally to you for:

  • individuals such as: subject leaders, coordinators, heads of departments
  • a team/whole department
  • a network of schools/groups
  • multi-academy trusts
  • initial teacher education
