EP2420 Genomics from Primary to Secondary- INVITE ONLY RN198 / A63
Summary
Genomics is the study of all of a person's genes (the genome), including interactions of those genes with each other and with the person's environment. It’s a legal requirement for all state schools and aspects of Genomics can be found in KS2, KS3 and KS4 programmes of study as well as A level subject criteria.
This CPD will give you a greater understanding of Genomics with links to The National Curriculum, through interactive activities and access to many resources which will enhance your teaching and inspire your students to want to find out more. The CPD will also focus on how the activities can be used to facilitate transition from KS2 to KS3. It is suitable for Primary teachers, non-specialists as well as specialists with a particular interest in transition.
